As September arrived, we proudly unveiled our new flooring collections, marking a milestone in Ted Todd’s journey. These collections represent the culmination of three decades of dedicated craftsmanship as we begin celebrating our 30th anniversary.
We are thrilled to introduce an array of new engineered wood floors that seamlessly complement our existing offering.
Using the highest quality environmentally friendly timber, we continue to make award-winning natural wood floors and cladding that inspire projects, and help create aspirational home interiors and shared commercial spaces. We hope the new floors you discover here contribute to this goal.
NEW TO THE PROJECT COLLECTION
A key flooring colour trend continuing to dominate 2023 is light floors.
Softly-hued wooden floors have maintained their popularity for a few years and show no signs of waning. Often seen in Scandinavian-inspired interiors, light wood floors are aesthetically pleasing as they impart an air of spaciousness and modernity to a room.
With the popularity of pale floors going from strength to strength, we have introduced four neutral flooring options, in a range of designs, to our much-loved Project collection.
Brindle has a subtle blushed pink tone. The wide and extra-wide planks and herringbone blocks have a brushed texture. The wood has been lime-treated to highlight the natural grain of the oak. It has then been finished with a hardened oil for a natural look with a subtle sheen.
Ryhill is a medium-toned floor with a subtle blonde tone. As with Brindle we have brushed and limed Ryhill’s planks and herringbone blocks. In addition, we have fumed the floor, which darkens its tone adding another layer to the overall aesthetic.
Linton is a light sand-coloured floor with natural tones with a brushed texture, which reveals the natural grain of the Nature grade oak. The floor is then finished with our new Absolute Matt Lacquer, which combines a super matt 3% sheen with high levels of durability and stain resistance. Linton is available as 190mm wide planks.
This Prime grade floor with our new Absolute Matt Lacquer. Prime timber has the most consistent overall appearance of all the grades. As such Haling will display minimal colour variation, few knots and black pinholes, and minimal presence of sapwood, defects and filler. Haling is available as a 190mm wide plank.
NEW UNFINISHED OAK
If you’re looking for the flexibility offered by unfinished wood, there is a distinctive selection of flooring designs to be found in our Unfinished Oaks collection.
Our Parquet de Versailles designs, geometric panels and timeless chevron blocks can be used to define the authentic style of a project and add textural interest to a space.
Finish to your exacting specification on site with an on-trend finish such as Natural Oil.
