The Gourmet Burger Kitchen (GBK) has recently opened their new restaurant in the heart of Somerset, more specifically in the Clarks Village Outlet. Opening their doors in Somerset to provide their own unique approach to one of Britain’s favorite dishes, the good old-fashioned burger. GBK dish out gourmet burger recipes using only the finest British ingredients and take extreme pride in this core value throughout their offering.
Clarks Village
The chain restaurant is known for their classic wooden decor and stylish interiors, working together with the design team, we were able to provide exactly what the project needed. The project itself was managed throughout by Stuart Consultancy Ltd in Bedfordshire. We specified Monroe planks from our Woodworks Editions Collection, laid diagonally across the main centre space of the restaurant. Monroe is created from slow grown European Oak with medium smoky brown tones through double fuming and subtle grain throughout each plank. Each handmade plank is hand finished with our in-house naked skin lacquer which provides a long lasting durable finish, a requirement needed for a high traffic restaurant such as GBK. A 20mm depth accompanied by an extra thick 6mm wear layer for a long lasting restaurant floor.
