The Box
Project Type - Leisure
Location - Yorkshire
We supplied an engineered oak plank, herringbone and bespoke chevron floor for this successful sports bar concept in central Leeds.
Masterminded by bar and restaurant group Arc Inspirations, The Box is the perfect blend of live music, delicious food and gaming, having become somewhat of a go-to destination on Leeds’ Infirmary Street.
Fusion by Design were tasked with delivering the stunning interior design for The Box’s first City Centre debut, creating a grown-up version of its Headingly sibling; appealing to students, city workers and residents alike. The project, which is a finalist in the upcoming Mixology South awards, boasts a masculine palette of burnt orange and olive, complementing the exposed brickwork, cement ceiling and wall paneling.
Working alongside Medlock FRB, we supplied our engineered oak Husk herringbone and plank to the space, helping to create defined ‘zones’ with the different formats. Husk has always flown the flag for originality, with its smoky oak tones and undulating surface each plank and block is utterly unique. Husk is engineered and finished with a hardened oil, making it the perfect partner for settings with heavy footfall. Husk was expertly fitted by Adam at APF contracts.
